To provide a sponge brush which is less likely to damage a portion in the oral cavity and less likely to cause pain or discomfort even if the sponge brush is moved under such a state that a sponge part is in the oral cavity of the user or a care receiver, which can reduce a use amount of materials such as synthetic resins and has a low environmental impact.SOLUTION: There is provided a sponge brush which has a sponge part 14 formed by a sponge on the tip side, which includes a hollow member 130 that constitutes a handle part 13 that is grasped to guide the sponge part 14 into the oral cavity, has a hollow cylindrical shape and is formed by an elastic material. The hollow member 130 is characterized by having a deformable structure that includes flange-shaped parts 17, 18 protruding in the flange shape and is elastically deformable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】スポンジ部が使用者本人又は被介助者の口腔内にある状態の下において動かすときでも、その口腔内の部位を傷付ける虞が小さく、また、痛みや不快感を感じる虞が小さいスポンジブラシを提供する。さらに、合成樹脂などの材料の使用量を減らすことができ、地球環境に対する負荷の低いスポンジブラシを提供する。【解決手段】先端側にスポンジによって形成されるスポンジ部１４を有するスポンジブラシであって、スポンジ部１４を口腔内に誘導するために把持されるハンドル部１３を構成し、中空の筒状であり、かつ、弾性材料により形成される中空部材１３０とを備え、中空部材１３０は、鍔状に突出する鍔状部１７，１８を含み且つ弾性変形可能な変形構造を有することを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
