Summary:To not incorrectly recognize a drive state as a cut-off state due to the influence of two-phase control and the like, when determining the drive state based on an instantaneous value of a PWM signal input which drives a switching element of a power conversion equipment having a plurality of phases.SOLUTION: A power conversion equipment comprises a switching element which supplies drive power to a rotary electric machine, a PWM output setter which outputs a PWM drive signal to the switching element, a drive signal feedback circuit which electrically feedbacks the PWM drive signal, and a switching element cut-off state determination section which determines a cut-off state of the switching element based on the PWM drive signal feedbacked by the drive signal feedback circuit and setting of PWM duty of the PWM output setter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】複数相を備えた電力変換装置のスイッチング素子を駆動するPWM信号入力の瞬時値に基づいて駆動状態を判断した場合、二相変調制御等の影響で駆動状態を遮断状態と誤認識することがあった。【解決手段】回転電機に駆動電力を供給するスイッチング素子と、PWM駆動信号をスイッチング素子に出力するPWM出力設定器と、PWM駆動信号を電気的に帰還する駆動信号帰還回路と、駆動信号帰還回路により帰還したPWM駆動信号とPWM出力設定器のPWMデューティの設定に基づいて、スイッチング素子の遮断状態を判断するスイッチング素子遮断状態判断部とを備える。【選択図】図1
