To improve attention or impression of an image.SOLUTION: A design correction apparatus performs attention evaluation for evaluating a portion of an input image that is likely to attract visual attention, performs impression evaluation for estimating an impression given by the input image to an observer, and combines results of the attention evaluation and results of the impression evaluation to present a design correction plan for the attention or impression of the input image. For example, the design correction apparatus presents, as the design correction plan, a policy for improving attention such that the amount of change in the impression of the corrected image relative to the input image is within a predetermined range.
