To suppress processing of an image by a signal processing part causing as a switch part switches states when the switch part is operated while an image is photographed.SOLUTION: An electronic endoscope imaging a biological tissue every time a prescribed frame period is imaged includes: a recording part which individually records a plurality of images photographed at a plurality of different imaging times; a signal processing part performing signal processing of images recorded to the recording part; a switch part which communicates with the signal processing part and selectively switches states of equipment provided for the electronic endoscope by switching between a first state and a second state; and a control part which interlocks with the switch part to control the recording part and the signal processing part.
