Summary: | To provide an anode for electrolysis which has an extremely low anode potential in an anode for chlorine production such as chloro-alkali electrolysis and seawater electrolysis, suppresses oxygen in chlorine which is a side reaction of the anode to be extremely low, and enables stable electrolysis as a practical electrode for a long period.SOLUTION: An anode for electrolysis is obtained by alternately coating and laminating a metal alloy composed of platinum and palladium and an oxide composed of ruthenium and/or iridium and titanium and/or tin, on a surface of a base material composed of titanium or titanium alloy, and is used for chlorine production.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】 クロルアルカリ電解や海水電解のような塩素発生用の陽極において、極めて低い陽極電位を有し、しかも陽極副反応である塩素中の酸素を極めて低くなるように抑えるとともに、実用電極として、長期間安定に電解できる電解用陽極を得る。【解決手段】本発明はチタン又はチタン合金を基材として、その表面に白金とパラジウムからなる金属合金の被覆とルテニウム及び/又はイリジウム及びチタン及び/又はスズからなる酸化物の被覆を交互に被覆、積層した主として塩素発生用に使用する電解用陽極である。【選択図】なし |
