Summary:To provide a fastening component made of two-phase stainless steel which hardly has its head part ruptured, and a design method for the fastening component.SOLUTION: There is employed a T-shaped fastening component that comprises a shaft part having a screw part and a head part connected to one end of the shaft part and extending orthogonally to the extension direction of the shaft part, and the fastening component is made of ferrite austenite two-phase stainless steel which has a 0.2% yield strength of 500 MPa or larger and a work cure index of 0.25 or smaller, wherein an S value found from S=(2×B×0.6)/A (1) exceeds 1.20. In the expression (1), A represents the cross sectional area of a cross section which is orthogonal to the length direction of the shaft part and has minimum cross sectional area, and B represents the cross sectional area of a cross section of the head part which is orthogonal to the length direction of the head part and also at an end point position of a corner part R where the one end of the shaft part and the head part are in contact from the corner part to a length-directional end part of the head part.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】頭部での破断が起こりにくい二相ステンレス鋼からなる締結部品及び締結部品の設計方法を提供する。【解決手段】ねじ部を有する軸部と、軸部の一端に接続されて軸部の延在方向と直交する方向に延在する頭部と、を備えたT字状の締結部品であって、0.2%耐力が500MPa以上、加工硬化指数が0.25以下のフェライト・オーステナイト二相ステンレス鋼からなり、下記式(1)で求められるS値が1.20超である締結部品を採用する。S=(2×B×0.6)/A ...(1)式(1)において、Aは、軸部の長手方向と直交する断面であって、断面積が最小となる位置での断面の断面積であり、Bは、頭部の長手方向と直交する頭部の断面であって軸部の一端と頭部とが接する隅部から頭部の長手方向の端部に向けて隅部の隅部Rの終点位置での断面の断面積である。【選択図】なし
