To provide a vehicle charging facility abnormality detecting system in which proper countermeasures can be taken when an abnormality occurs, such as a vehicle being unable to charge from a charging facility.SOLUTION: An abnormality detecting system 1 for a charging facility 3 for a vehicle 2, includes the charging facility 3 that is installed outside, and the vehicle 2 that is configured to be able to perform communication, and detects an abnormality when the vehicle 2 is charged from the charging facility 3. The vehicle 2 includes an abnormality detecting unit 16 that detects occurrence of an abnormality in the charging facility 3, an abnormality information acquiring unit that acquires information about a cause of the detected abnormality, and a reporting unit 18 that reports the acquired information about the abnormality to the charging facility 3.
