Summary:To provide a ball screw capable of securing discharge of foreign matter while securing lubricity.SOLUTION: A ball screw has: a screw shaft, on which an outer peripheral screw groove is formed; a nut, on which an inner peripheral screw groove is formed; plural balls housed in plural rolling paths formed by the outer peripheral screw groove and the inner peripheral screw groove opposed to each other; and first and second tubes for returning the balls from one end of the rolling path to the other end. A compressed preload is applied to the ball screw. The first tube is arranged at an upper circumferential part of the nut, and the second tube is arranged at a lower circumferential part of the nut.
