Summary:To provide a rotary valve which can secure sealability of a seal member.SOLUTION: In one embodiment of the disclosure, a rotary valve 1 has: a valve 12; and a housing 11 which houses the valve 12. The valve 12 rotates to switch a passage formed by a passage port 21 of the housing 11 and an internal passage 31 of the valve 12. The rotary valve 1 has an annular seal member 41 which is provided at the housing 11, contacts with the valve 12, and seals a space between the housing 11 and the valve 12.
