Summary: | To provide a technique of improving the performance of a display device.SOLUTION: A display device includes a substrate 10 having a first front surface and a first rear surface on the opposite side of the first front surface, a substrate 20 having a second rear surface facing the first front surface and a second front surface on the opposite side of the second rear surface, a liquid crystal layer LQL disposed between the first front surface of the substrate 10 and the second rear surface of the substrate 20, a light guide plate 40 that is fixed with adhesion onto the second front surface of the substrate 20 through an adhesive layer 41, and a light source part 50 disposed at a position facing a first side surface of the light guide plate 40.
