The seal structure for the battery case comprises: a lower case member and an upper case member that configure the battery case; and a sealing member provided between the members at a bonding portion between their peripheral parts. At least one of the lower and upper case members has a fiber-reinforced resin layer on the sealing member side surface at the bonding portion.
