Summary:To provide a non-invasive mechanical axis estimation method and a device for the same which can easily estimate a mechanical axis during an operation even though the device has a simplified device configuration.SOLUTION: Since a triaxial inertia sensor 200 is attached to an osteotomy guiding instrument 100, the patient's knee is moved to detect an angle around each axis of a sensor coordinate system (Xs, Ys, Zs) and a difference with respect to a mechanical axis coordinate system (Xm, Ym, Zm) is calculated from the result, a direction of a mechanical axis of the patient can be excellently estimated even though a device has a simple configuration. Consequently, the direction of a saw insertion slit 116 of an osteotomy block 110 excellently becomes the desired direction with respect to the mechanical axis, and resection of the femur distal end in the implanting operation of the artificial knee joint can be performed at the desired angle with respect to the mechanical axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 簡略化された装置構成でありながら、術中で簡便に機能軸を推定することができる非侵襲の機能軸推定方法及びその装置を提供する。【解決手段】 骨切ガイド器具100に三軸慣性センサ200を取り付けるとともに、患者の膝を動かしてセンサ座標系(Xs,Ys,Zs)の各軸周りの角度を検知し、その結果から機能軸座標系(Xm,Ym,Zm)との差を演算することとしたので、簡便な構成でありながら、患者の機能軸の方向を良好に推定することができる。これにより、骨切ブロック110の鋸挿入スリット116の方向が機能軸に対して良好に所望の方向となり、人工膝関節の埋入手術における大腿骨遠位端の切除を、機能軸に対して所望の角度で行うことができる。【選択図】図1
