To provide an elevator capable of achieving the safety of an operator and maintenance work efficiency by restricting operation of the movement of a car by a maintenance terminal in accordance with the position of the car and the maintenance terminal when two maintenance terminals are provided on the car or in a pit.SOLUTION: An elevator has a first maintenance terminal and a second maintenance terminal on a car or in a pit. The first maintenance terminal can be operated while standing and the second maintenance terminal is located in a position where it is difficult to be operated while standing. When a direction toward the position where the first maintenance terminal and the second maintenance terminal exist from the car is a first direction and an opposite side of the first direction is a second direction, a control device permits the second maintenance terminal to move the car in the first direction while restricting the first maintenance terminal to move the car in the first direction when the position of the car is within a predetermined range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】かごの上またはピット内の一方に２つの保守端末を有する場合に、かごの位置と保守端末に応じて保守端末によるかごの移動の操作を制限することで、作業者の安全と保守作業の効率の両立を図ることができるエレベーターを提供する。【解決手段】エレベーターが、かごの上またはピット内の一方に、第１の保守端末と第２の保守端末とを有し、第１の保守端末は立ちながら操作することが可能であり、第２の保守端末は立ちながら操作することが困難な位置に配置されており、かごから第１の保守端末および第２の保守端末が存在する場所に向かう方向を第１の方向とし、第１の方向とは反対側を第２の方向としたときに、制御装置は、かごの位置が所定の範囲内のとき、第２の保守端末によってかごを第１の方向に移動させる操作は許可するが、第１の保守端末によってかごを第１の方向に移動させる操作は制限する。【選択図】図１
