Summary:To provide a lid for a beverage container that can prevent a finger from touching a liquid surface when pressing-in a notch or the like formed in the lid for a beverage container with the finger and can simplify an opening operation so that the lid can be opened in one step, which enables a consumer to intuitively understand how to form a faucet.SOLUTION: A lid for a beverage container comprises a covering plate part 4 covering an opening part 3 of a beverage container 2, and a side periphery part 5, provided at an outer peripheral edge of the covering plate part 4, which can engage with an edge part of the opening part 3 of the beverage container 2 when the covering plate 4 covers the opening part 3 of the beverage container 2, which further comprises: a line part 11 for forming a faucet, provided at a peripheral edge side of the covering plate part 4, which has a shape of a peripheral edge side of the faucet 8 for forming the faucet 8; two line parts 12 for locking extended from an inside of a site 20 for forming the faucet surrounded by the line part 11 for forming the faucet toward a center side thereof; and a low strength part 15 for mountain-folding that facilitates mountain-folding of a lock part 30, at a side closer to the center side than one end and the other end of the line part 11 for forming the faucet, of the lock part 30 surrounded by the two line parts 12 for locking.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】飲料容器用蓋に設けられた切込み等を指で押し込んだ際に指が液面に触れてしまうのを防止することができ、開封動作自体を簡略化して１ステップで実現することで消費者が直感的に飲口を形成する方法を理解できる飲料容器用蓋を提供する。【解決手段】飲料容器２の開口部３を覆う覆板部４と、覆板部４の外周縁に設けられ、飲料容器２の開口部３を覆板部４が覆うようにした際に飲料容器２の開口部３の縁部に係合可能な側周部５とを備え、覆板部４の周縁側に設けられ、飲口８を形成するための当該飲口８の周縁側の形状である飲口形成用線部１１と、飲口形成用線部１１で囲まれた飲口形成用部位２０の内部から中央側に向けて延長された２本のロック用線部１２と、２本のロック用線部１２により囲まれるロック部３０の、飲口形成用線部１１の一端及び他端よりも中央側において、ロック部３０の山折りを容易とするための山折用低強度部１５とを備える。【選択図】図３
