Summary: | To provide a synthetic light generator which can be downsized more and can be manufactured at lower cost due to increase of productivity in association with the further downsizing.SOLUTION: The synthetic light generator includes: a plurality of laser diodes for outputting light with different wavelengths; a plurality of input optical waveguides for inputting light with different wavelengths from a plurality of input ports and guiding the light to an optical multiplexer; an optical multiplexer for multiplexing the light with different wavelengths and obtaining multiplex light; and an optical multiplexer circuit including an output optical waveguide for outputting the multiplex light from at least one output port. The distance between the central axes of adjacent ones of the input ports is in the range of 100 to 700 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】さらなる小型化を実現すると共に、さらなる小型化に伴う生産性向上により製造コストを低減した合成光生成装置を提供する。【解決手段】波長の異なる光を出力する複数個のレーザダイオードと、前記波長の異なる光をそれぞれ複数個の入力ポートから入力し光合波器まで導波する複数個の入力光導波路、前記波長の異なる光を合波して多重光とする光合波器、及び少なくとも1個の出力ポートから前記多重光を出力する出力光導波路を含む光合波回路と、を備えた合成光生成装置であって、前記複数の入力ポートの隣接する中心軸間の距離が100~700μmであることを特徴とする合成光生成装置である。【選択図】 図3 |
