Summary:To provide a cargo handling vehicle facilitating maintenance work of an obstacle detection sensor while setting a lower part of a driving cab as a detection target area of the obstacle detection sensor during cargo handling work.SOLUTION: A cargo handling vehicle includes a vehicle body 11 equipped with driving wheels, a pair of right and left legs 14 extending from one side of the vehicle body 11 and having wheels 15 on its tip, a pair of right and left outer masts 19 arranged on the legs 14 sides of the vehicle body 11, a driving cab 18 capable of being raised/lowered relative to the pair of right and left outer masts 19, a cargo handling tool provided in the driving cab 18, an obstacle detection sensor 47 detecting an obstacle below the cargo handling tool and the driving cab 18, a warning device issuing a warning, and a controller controlling the warning device to emit a warning when the obstacle detection sensor 47 detects an obstacle. The obstacle detection sensor 47 is installed outside a base part of at least one outer mast 19 among the pair of right and left outer masts 19.
