To provide an emulsion cosmetic that delivers a refreshing, airy feel during application, has good skin affinity post-application, provides enhanced coverage, and imparts a moisturizing sheen to the skin.SOLUTION: An emulsion cosmetic comprises following components (A), (B), (C) and (D): (A) 2 mass% or more of powder, (B) a polysaccharide-based thickener, (C) 0.01-4 mass% of dimer acid ester, and (D) 0.1-4 mass% of hydrocarbon oil with a melting point of 38-60°C.
