Upon returning from a shutdown state as the shift range is switched from the neutral range to a travel range, if a depression amount of an accelerator pedal is greater than a predetermined value, the control means sets an output torque rate of the rotary electric machine at a value greater than a normal time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
