To provide a manufacturing program forming support device and a manufacturing program forming support method that can easily recognize a possibility that productivity may be improved by changing a manufacturing program.SOLUTION: A manufacturing program forming support method that supports forming of a manufacturing program which is used in a manufacturing device includes: acquiring a manufacturing result including information on manufactured varieties, a manufacturing period and quantity thereof, and a manufacturing program used (ST1); reforming grouping information including grouping information of the plurality of varieties and a manufacturing program thereof based on the manufacturing result (ST3); determining whether to propose changing of the manufacturing program being used based on the reformed grouping information (ST5); and if it is determined to propose a change (Yes in ST5), providing a notification of a changing proposal of the manufacturing program (ST6).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 【課題】生産プログラムの変更により生産性が向上する可能性があることを容易に認識することができる生産プログラム作成支援装置および生産プログラム作成支援方法を提供する。【解決手段】生産装置に使用される生産プログラムの作成を支援する生産プログラム作成支援方法は、生産された品種の情報、その生産期間と生産数、および使用された生産プログラムを含む生産実績を取得し（ＳＴ１）、生産実績に基づいて、複数の前記品種をグループ化した情報とその生産プログラムを含むグルーピング情報を再作成し（ＳＴ３）、再作成したグルーピング情報に基づいて、使用されている生産プログラムの変更を提案するか否かを判断し（ＳＴ５）、提案すると判断した場合（ＳＴ５においてＹｅｓ）、生産プログラムの変更提案を通知する（ＳＴ６）。【選択図】図９
