Summary:To provide an estimation method and estimation device capable of estimating a state of a sintering process with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A method for estimating a state of a sintering process includes: a process variable calculation step S1 in which observable process variables are calculated using a physical model that takes into account chemical reactions and heat transfer phenomena in the sintering process; a deviation degree calculation step S2 that calculates the deviation degree between an estimation value of the calculated process variable and an actual value; a model parameter adjustment step S3 that corrects unknown parameters of the physical model so that the calculated deviation degree becomes smaller; and a feature data calculation step S4 of calculating feature data of the sintering process based on the corrected physical model, and the unknown parameter is corrected by iterative calculation that is performed while innovating a time step, with an evaluation function that counts an influence on the estimated value of the process variable accompanying correction of the degree of deviation and the unknown parameter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】高精度に焼結プロセスの状態を推定できる推定方法及び推定装置を提供する。【解決手段】焼結プロセスの状態推定方法は、焼結プロセスにおける化学反応及び伝熱現象を考慮した物理モデルを用いて、観測可能なプロセス変数を算出するプロセス変数算出ステップS1と、算出されたプロセス変数の推定値と実績値との間の乖離度を算出する乖離度算出ステップS2と、算出される乖離度が小さくなるように、物理モデルの未知パラメータを修正するモデルパラメータ調整ステップS3と、修正された物理モデルに基づいて、焼結プロセスの特徴データを算出する特徴データ算出ステップS4と、含み、前記未知パラメータは、前記乖離度と未知パラメータの修正に伴う前記プロセス変数の推定値への影響を加味する評価関数を用いて、時間ステップを更新しながら行われる反復計算によって修正される。【選択図】図8
