To provide a CO2 absorption evaluation system capable of accurately calculating the amount of CO2 absorbed.SOLUTION: A CO2 absorption evaluation system includes: a first specifying unit which specifies a water surface region in an evaluation target region; a second specifying unit which specifies a forest region in the evaluation target region; an estimation unit which estimates plant habitat condition in the water surface region on the basis of the color and the color density of the water surface region specified by the first specifying unit; and a calculation unit which calculates the amount of CO2 absorbed in the evaluation target region on the basis of the plant habitat condition in the water surface region estimated by the estimation unit and the forest region specified by the second specifying unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】精度良くＣＯ２吸収量を算出することが可能なＣＯ２吸収量評価システムを提供すること。【解決手段】ＣＯ２吸収量評価システムは、評価対象領域のうち水面領域を特定する第１特定部と、評価対象領域のうち森林領域を特定する第２特定部と、第１特定部によって特定された水面領域の色彩及び色濃度に基づいて、当該水面領域における植物生息状況を推定する推定部と、推定部により推定された水面領域における植物生息状況、及び、第２特定部により特定された森林領域、に基づいて、評価対象領域におけるＣＯ２吸収量を算出する算出部と、を備える。【選択図】図１
