To provide a power conversion device capable of improving the lifetime of the entire device by leveling damage to a switching element and a diode constituting an inverter circuit.SOLUTION: A power conversion device comprises: a converter circuit which outputs a DC primary-side voltage; a converter controller which controls the converter circuit; an inverter circuit which includes a power switching device and a diode and converts the primary-side voltage into a predetermined AC voltage; and an inverter control section which controls the inverter circuit.
