Summary:To provide a battery control method and device capable of suppressing a change speed of SOC in a state where the temperatures of cells are low.SOLUTION: A control command is displayed on a display for detecting voltages of a plurality of cells 1, detecting temperatures of the plurality of cells 1, calculating an SOC of a battery 3 using an SOC arithmetic expression including a predetermined coefficient based on the detected voltages, and displaying the calculated SOC on the display. In arithmetic processing (an arithmetic flow) of the SOC using the SOC arithmetic expression, in a case where a lowest temperature (TL) is lower than a predetermined temperature threshold (Tth) and a temperature difference (ΔT) is equal to or more than a predetermined temperature difference threshold (ΔTth), the SOC is calculated using the SOC arithmetic expression in which the coefficient is a first coefficient (K1). In a case where the lowest temperature (TL) is lower than the predetermined temperature threshold (Tth) and the temperature difference (ΔT) is less than the predetermined temperature difference threshold (ΔTth), the SOC is calculated using the SOC arithmetic expression in which the coefficient is a second coefficient (K2).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】セルの温度が低い状態でSOCの変化速度を抑制できるバッテリ制御方法及び装置を提供する。【解決手段】複数のセル1の電圧を検出し、複数のセル1の温度を検出し、検出された電圧に基づき、所定の係数を含んだSOC演算式を用いて、バッテリ3のSOCを演算し、演算されたSOCをディスプレイに表示させる制御指令を、ディスプレイに表示する。そして、SOC演算式を用いたSOCの演算処理(演算フロー)では、最低温度(TL)が所定の温度閾値(Tth)未満であり、かつ、温度差(ΔT)が所定の温度差閾値(ΔTth)以上である場合には、係数を第1係数(K1)としたSOC演算式を用いて、SOCを演算し、最低温度(TL)が所定の温度閾値未満(Tth)であり、かつ、温度差(ΔT)が所定の温度差閾値(ΔTth)未満である場合には、係数を第2係数(K2)としたSOC演算式を用いて、SOCを演算する。【選択図】図5
