Summary:To provide a printing system and estimation method capable of reducing time and effort of a user.SOLUTION: A printing system 10 comprises: a pretreatment part 25 for applying pretreatment liquid to cloth 99; a printing part 21 for discharging printing liquid to the cloth to which the pretreatment liquid is applied; a storage part 41 for storing a data table T1 indicating a correspondence relation between a time period elapsing after the pretreatment liquid is manufactured and friction fastness of the cloth using the pretreatment liquid; and a control part 42.
