Summary: | To suppress deterioration of a read image due to fluctuation of dark current in an optical line sensor.SOLUTION: An image recording device includes: a conveyance section 200 which conveys a medium to be recorded in a conveyance direction 6; a head 140 which discharges liquid to the medium to be recorded which is conveyed by the conveyance section 200; a heater 160 which is positioned closer to a downstream side in the conveyance direction 6 than the head 140 and heats the liquid and the medium to be recorded or both of them; an optical line sensor 230 which is positioned closer to a downstream side in the conveyance direction 6 than the heater 160, receives reflection of light irradiated from a light source 333 with respect to the medium to be recorded and electrically detects the light receiving; and a controller 10. The controller 10 specifies a non-lighting period for making the light source 333 non-lighting, drives the optical line sensor in the non-lighting period, acquires dark current output by the optical line sensor, and controls an operation of the optical line sensor 230 on the basis of the magnitude of the acquired dark current.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】光学的ラインセンサにおける暗電流の変動による読取画像の劣化を抑制する。【解決手段】被記録媒体を搬送向き6へ搬送する搬送部200と、上記搬送部200により搬送される上記被記録媒体に液体を吐出するヘッド140と、上記ヘッド140より上記搬送向き6の下流に位置しており、上記液体、上記被記録媒体、または両方を加熱するヒータ160と、上記ヒータ160より上記搬送向き6の下流に位置しており、上記被記録媒体に対して光源333から照射された光の反射を受光して電気的に検知する光学的ラインセンサ230と、コントローラ10と、を備える。上記コントローラ10は、上記光源333を非点灯とする非点灯期間を特定し、上記非点灯期間において上記光学的ラインセンサを駆動して、上記光学的ラインセンサが出力する暗電流を取得し、取得した上記暗電流の大きさに基づいて、上記光学的ラインセンサ230の動作を制御する。【選択図】図1 |
