Summary:To provide a technique for confirming that objective particles have been recovered in single cell analysis.SOLUTION: The present technique provides a particle confirmation method including: an association process of associating identification information that particles captured by wells in a particle capturing region have with positional information of the wells; a discharging process of discharging the particles from the wells; an identification information acquiring process of acquiring the identification information of the particles after the discharging process; and a confirmation process of confirming the positions of the wells which have captured the particles on the basis of the acquired identification information.
