Summary:To provide an electrode having a three-dimensionally ruled skeleton low in contact resistance with other members such as a catalyst layer, good in bubble removal, and excellent in electrolytic efficiency.SOLUTION: An electrode having a three-dimensionally ruled skeleton includes: a #-shaped sheet layer 11 having a plurality of penetrated holes in a thickness direction; and a pin structural layer 15 composed of a plurality of pin members 16 provided to stand from the #-shaped sheet layer 11, where the percentage of void of the #-shaped sheet layer 11 is in a range of 20% or more and 70% or less, the percentage of void of the pin structural layer 15 is in a range of 70% or more and 99% or less, the thickness of the #-shaped sheet layer 11 is in a range of 10 μm or more and 500 μm or less, and the thickness of the pin structural layer 15 is in a range of 100 μm or more and 5,000 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】触媒層等の他の部材との接触抵抗が低く、且つ、気泡の抜けが良く、電解効率に優れた3次元規則骨格を有する電極を提供する。【解決手段】厚さ方向に複数の貫通孔を有する井型シート層11と、この井型シート層11から立設された複数のピン部材16によって構成されたピン構造層15と、を有し、井型シート層11の空隙率が20%以上70%以下の範囲内とされ、ピン構造層15の空隙率が70%以上99%以下の範囲内とされており、井型シート層11の厚みが10μm以上500μm以下の範囲内とされ、ピン構造層15の厚みが100μm以上5000μm以下の範囲内とされている。【選択図】図1
