To reliably suppress gripping an improper sheet without causing damage.SOLUTION: A swing device of a sheet-fed printer comprises: a swing part which moves between a position for receiving a sheet from a paper feeding part and a position for delivering it to a printing part and includes a claw 4 for gripping the sheet at the receiving position and opening the gripping at the delivering position; a claw opening/closing mechanism 5 which opens/closes the claw into a gripping attitude and an opening attitude and has a stopper 51 capable of regulating so that the claw does not grip the sheet at the receiving position; a regulation part provided with a first contact part 61 which comes into contact with the stopper 51 so that the claw 4 at the receiving position becomes a first opening attitude more opened than the gripping attitude and a second contact part 62 which comes into contact with the stopper 51 so that the claw 4 at the receiving position becomes a second opening attitude more opened than the first opening attitude; a first mechanism part 7 which moves the regulation part 6 so that the first contact part 61 is positioned at a first position in contact with the stopper 51 by a detection signal having detected an improper sheet; and a second mechanism part 8 which moves the regulation part 6 from the first position so as to be positioned at a second position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】損傷を招くことなく不正紙を咥えることを確実に阻止する。【解決手段】給紙部からの枚葉紙を受取位置と印刷部への受渡位置との間を移動し、受取位置で枚葉紙を咥え、受渡位置で咥えを開く爪４を備えるスイング部と、爪を咥え姿勢と開放姿勢とに開閉し、爪が枚葉紙を受取位置で咥えないように規制可能なストッパ５１を有する爪開閉機構５と、受取位置にある爪４が咥え姿勢より開いた第１開放姿勢となるように、ストッパ５１に当接する第１当接部６１と受取位置にある爪４が第１開放姿勢より開いた第２開放姿勢となるように、ストッパ５１に当接する第２当接部６２が形成され、不正紙を検出した検出信号により、第１当接部６１がストッパ５１に当接する第１位置に位置するように規制部６を移動させる第１機構部７と、第１位置から第２位置に位置するように規制部６を移動させる第２機構部８と、を備える。【選択図】 図３
