To provide an LED lighting device etc. which can inhibit ends of a cover member as seen in a width direction from getting dark.SOLUTION: An LED lighting device 3 comprises: a substrate 11 on which an LED 12 is disposed; a frame 20 having a main plate part 21 to which the substrate 11 is attached; and a cover member 30 which is attached to the frame 20 so as to cover the LED 12. When a direction at the light emission side of the LED 12 is set, with respect to the main plate part 21, to a first direction and a direction opposite to the first direction is set to a second direction, the frame 20 has protruding parts 22 positioned at both sides of the main plate part 21 in a short direction of the frame 20 and protruding from the main plate part 21 toward the first direction side. The cover member 30 has: a main part 31 which transmits light of the LED 12 and radiates the light to the outside; and extension parts 32 each extending from a position located at the second direction side relative to a portion, which is located closest to the first direction side, of the protruding part 22 on an inner surface of the main part 31 to the LED 12 side so as to cover at least a part of the protruding part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】カバー部材の幅方向の端部が暗くなること抑制できるＬＥＤ照明装置等を提供する。【解決手段】ＬＥＤ照明装置３は、ＬＥＤ１２が配置された基板１１と、基板１１が取り付けられた主板部２１を有するフレーム２０と、ＬＥＤ１２を覆うようにフレーム２０に取り付けられたカバー部材３０と、を備え、主板部２１を基準にしてＬＥＤ１２の光出射側の方向を第１方向とし、第１方向とは反対側の方向を第２方向としたときに、フレーム２０は、フレーム２０の短手方向における主板部２１の両側に位置し且つ主板部２１から前記第１方向側に向かって突出する突出部２２を有し、カバー部材３０は、ＬＥＤ１２の光を透過させて外部に照射させる主部３１と、主部３１の内面における突出部２２のうち最も第１方向側に位置する部位よりも前記第２方向側の位置から突出部２２の少なくとも一部を覆うようにしてＬＥＤ１２側に向かって延在する延設部３２とを有する。【選択図】図３
