To provide fences that have good workability.SOLUTION: Columns 1a, 1b,..., horizontal members 2, 2,..., installed on the columns 1a, 1b,..., and covering materials 3 are provided. The horizontal member 2 comprises a disengagement stop member 4 at a longitudinal end. The disengagement stop member 4 includes an engagement portion 5 that engages with the column 1a while allowing the horizontal member 2 to contract in the longitudinal direction.
