Summary: | To provide a separator for electrochemical element which has sufficient mechanical strength and with which an electrochemical element having low internal resistance can be manufactured.SOLUTION: A separator for electrochemical element is a separator for an electrochemical element which includes a non-aqueous electrolyte, and the separator has non-woven fabric constituting fiber bonded and fixed with polyalkylene carbonate. The polyalkylene carbonate preferably occupies 10-65 mass% of the whole separator for electrochemical element. The polyalkylene carbonate is preferably present filling voids in the non-woven fabric constituting fiber. Further, the polyalkylene carbonate preferably includes inorganic particles. It is preferred that the electrochemical element has a layer of polyalkylene carbonate which has a direction of a width of 1 N/50 mm or larger in tensile strength per 1 μm thickness and is 10 s/100 mL or larger in Gurley permeability, or does not include the non-woven fabric constituting fiber at least on one surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 充分な機械的強度を有するとともに、内部抵抗の低い電気化学素子を製造できる電気化学素子用セパレータを提供すること。【解決手段】 本発明の電気化学素子用セパレータは、非水系電解液を含む電気化学素子のセパレータであり、セパレータは不織布構成繊維がポリアルキレンカーボネートによって接着固定されている。ポリアルキレンカーボネートは電気化学素子用セパレータ全体の10~65mass%を占めているのが好ましい。ポリアルキレンカーボネートが不織布構成繊維間の空隙を埋めるように存在しているのが好ましい。更に、無機粒子を含んでいるのが好ましい。本発明の電気化学素子は厚さ1μmあたりの引張り強さが1N/50mm幅以上の方向を有する、ガーレ通気度が10s/100mL以上、または少なくとも片面に不織布構成繊維を含まないポリアルキレンカーボネートの層を有するのが好ましい。【選択図】 図1 |
