To provide a method for measuring a mixed scum amount in rolling oil coolant for cleaning in a cold rolling mill and in a rolling oil coolant circulation system thereof.SOLUTION: A method for measuring a mixed scum amount in rolling oil coolant for cleaning includes the steps of: mixing rolling oil and scum collected from a rolling oil coolant circulation system pipe, and calculating a theoretical calculation value of oil soluble iron concentration with respect to a ratio of mixed scum in the rolling oil coolant for cleaning, based on the mixed amount of the rolling oil and the scum, and oil soluble iron concentration measured before or after the mixing; cleaning inside of a cold rolling mill and the rolling oil coolant circulation system using rolling oil coolant for cleaning, and extracting, using an organic solvent, the oil from rolling oil coolant for cleaning mixed with the scum, and then, measuring concentration of the extracted oil soluble iron; and determine a mixed amount of scum by collating the measured oil soluble iron concentration with the theoretical calculation value of the oil soluble iron concentration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】冷間圧延機内及びその圧延油クーラント循環システム内の洗浄用圧延油クーラントへのスカム混入量の測定方法を提供すること。【解決手段】圧延油と、圧延油クーラント循環システム配管から採取したスカムとを混合し、その混合量と、混合前又は混合後に測定した油溶鉄分濃度に基づいて、洗浄用圧延油クーラントへのスカム混合比率に対する油溶鉄分濃度の理論計算値を算出するステップ、洗浄用圧延油クーラントを用いて冷間圧延機内及び圧延油クーラント循環システム内を洗浄し、スカムが混入した洗浄用圧延油クーラントから油分を有機溶剤で抽出後、抽出された油溶鉄分濃度を測定するステップ、及び測定した油溶鉄分濃度を、油溶鉄分濃度の理論計算値と照合することにより、混入スカム量を決定するステップを含む洗浄用圧延油クーラントへのスカム混入量の測定方法。【選択図】図１
