Summary:To surely fix a pedicle screw to a bone in the spinal fusion.SOLUTION: A pedicle screw 1 used in the spinal fusion comprises: a rod-shaped shaft part 12 which is formed with a thread; and a head part 11 which is connected to a base end 12a of the shaft part 12. The shaft part 12 includes: a first screw part 14A which is provided on the base end 12a side and in which a pitch of a thread 13 is in a prescribed size; and a second screw part 14B which is provided on the tip 12b side and in which a pitch of the thread is greater than that of the first screw part 14A. The surface of the shaft part 12 includes: a low friction surface 16 which is not subjected to a surface roughening treatment; and a high friction surface 15 which is subjected to the surface roughening treatment and has a large friction coefficient.
