Summary:To provide a carrier travel device which can apply a parking brake to a driving wheel that rotates with the electric power.SOLUTION: A carrier travel device comprises: a link mechanism part 23 which performs position transformation of a parking brake part 22 swingably pivoted to a pivot shaft part that is in substantially parallel with a rotation axis line of a driving wheel 5 to the standby position separated from the driving wheel 5 and the pressure-contact position that is brought into pressure-contact with the driving wheel 5; a parking brake operation part which positions the parking brake part 22 at the standby position or the pressure-contact position via the link mechanism part 23; and parking brake biasing means 50 which biases the parking brake part 22 in the backward rolling direction of the driving wheel 5. With this configuration, since a parking brake can be easily applied to the parking brake operation part and the parking brake part 22 can be relatively strongly brought into pressure-contact with the driving wheel 5, the desired parking brake performance can be exhibited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】電力により回動する駆動輪に駐車ブレーキを掛けることができる運搬体走行装置を提供する。【解決手段】駆動輪5の回動軸線と略平行な枢支軸部に揺動可能に枢支された駐車ブレーキ部22を、該駆動輪5から離間された待機位置と該駆動輪5に圧接された圧接位置とに位置変換させるリンク機構部23と、該リンク機構部23を介して駐車ブレーキ部22を待機位置または圧接位置に位置決めする駐車ブレーキ操作部とを備え、さらに前記駐車ブレーキ部22を駆動輪5の後転方向へ付勢する駐車ブレーキ付勢手段50を備えた構成とした。かかる構成によれば、駐車ブレーキ操作部により容易に駐車ブレーキを掛けることができると共に、駐車ブレーキ部22を駆動輪5に比較的強く圧接できるため、所望の駐車ブレーキ性能を発揮できる。【選択図】図5
