Summary:To suppress as much as possible deterioration in image quality of an image that is recorded even when an abnormality occurs in a nozzle.SOLUTION: Ejection data for making a nozzle eject ink droplets is generated on the basis of image data (S201). When an abnormality occurs in ejection of some of large droplets, middle droplets and small droplets (S202:YES), correction processing for changing a value indicating ejection of some of the ink droplets in the ejection data to a value indicating ejection of the other ink droplets is executed (S203). When abnormalities occur in ejection of all of the large droplets, the middle droplets and the small droplets (S204:YES), complementary processing for changing a value indicating ejection of ink droplets for the nozzle arranged adjacently to the nozzle in which an abnormality occurs to a value indicating ejection of ink droplets for forming much larger dots is executed (S205).
