Summary: | To provide a waterproof connector capable of improving waterproof performance.SOLUTION: A waterproof connector 1 comprises a female terminal 4, which is connected to a terminal of a wire W, and a rubber plug 5 through which the wire W is inserted. The rubber plug 5 includes a front end inclined part 16 which is provided in an end of a rubber plug main body part 10 at the side of a direction X1, formed on a rubber plug outer peripheral surface 11 over an entire circumference in a circumferential direction, inclined radially inside with respect to the side of the direction X1, abutted and adhered to an inclined cylindrical inner peripheral surface 202 which defines a terminal accommodation chamber 20, while being elastically deformed, thereby waterproofing a gap between the rubber plug 5 and a female housing 2. The rubber plug 5 further includes a flange part 17 which is provided in an end of the rubber plug main body part 10 at the side of a direction X2, formed over the entire circumference in the circumferential direction while protruding radially outside from the rubber plug outer peripheral surface 11, abutted and adhered to a housing rear end face 23 while being elastically deformed, thereby waterproofing the gap between the rubber plug 5 and the female housing 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】防水性能を向上させることができる防水コネクタを提供する。【解決手段】防水コネクタ1は、電線Wの端末に接続されたメス端子4、電線Wが挿通されたゴム栓5を備える。ゴム栓5は、ゴム栓本体部10のX1方向側の端部に設けられ、ゴム栓外周面11に周方向の全周にわたって形成され、かつX1方向側に対して径方向内側に向けて傾斜し、端子収容室20を区画している傾斜筒状内周面202に当接して弾性変形しつつ密着することで、ゴム栓5とメスハウジング2との間を防水する先端傾斜部16を有する。また、ゴム栓5は、ゴム栓本体部10のX2方向側の端部に設けられ、ゴム栓外周面11から径方向外側に突出して周方向の全周にわたって形成され、かつハウジング後端面23に当接して弾性変形しつつ密着することで、ゴム栓5とメスハウジング2との間を防水するフランジ部17をさらに有する。【選択図】図2 |
