Summary:To provide a display panel which maintains rigidity while a glass substrate is being processed and holes of various shapes are being formed, and to provide a display device having the same.SOLUTION: A display panel according to an embodiment comprises a glass substrate having a display area and a light-transmitting area, a circuit unit disposed in the display area, and an element unit disposed on the circuit unit, where the glass substrate includes a first opening provided at a position corresponding to the light-transmitting area. The display panel includes a first etch-stop layer disposed on the glass substrate to surround the first opening.
