To provide an accessory for a camera that is configured to be removably attached to an imaging apparatus body of an imaging system and expands functions of the imaging apparatus body upon connection, and that has improved operability of key operation on its operation surface.SOLUTION: An expansion unit 150 (accessory for camera) comprises: a connection connector 203 for an expansion unit that performs input and output of video signals, operation power, and control signals and the like with respect to an imaging apparatus body 101; and a terminal group 199 that performs input and output of video signals, operation power, and control signals and the like with respect to an outside of the expansion unit 150.
