Summary:To provide an inkjet recording device equipped with an ink circulation-type recording head, which can sufficiently draw a thickened ink layer formed in a meniscus into a nozzle.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device is equipped with a recording head, a head driving part and a control part. The recording head has a plurality of pressurizing chambers, a plurality of pressurizing elements, a supply common passage and a recovery common passage. The head driving part comprises a waveform data storing part that stores discharging/driving waveform data and fine-driving waveform data, and a driving waveform generating part that generates a discharging/driving waveform for discharging ink and a fine-driving waveform for oscillating the meniscus, using the driving waveform data stored in the waveform data storing part. The control part can make the driving waveform generating part selectively apply the discharging/driving waveform and the fine-driving waveform to the pressurizing elements. When a natural vibration period of the meniscus is defined as Tc, the fine-driving waveform is a driving waveform including a draw-in pulse with a pulse width of Tc*3/4 or more and Tc*5/4 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 【課題】インクを循環させる方式の記録ヘッドを備え、メニスカスに形成される増粘したインク層をノズル内に十分に引き込み可能なインクジェット記録装置を提供する。【解決手段】インクジェット記録装置は、記録ヘッドと、ヘッド駆動部と、制御部と、を備える。記録ヘッドは、複数の加圧室と、複数の加圧素子と、供給共通流路と、回収共通流路と、を有する。ヘッド駆動部は、吐出駆動波形データと微駆動波形データとを記憶する波形データ記憶部と、波形データ記憶部に記憶された駆動波形データを用いてインクを吐出する吐出駆動波形とメニスカスを揺動させる微駆動波形とを生成する駆動波形生成部と、を備える。制御部は、吐出駆動波形と微駆動波形とを駆動波形生成部から加圧素子に選択的に印加可能である。メニスカスの固有振動周期をTcとするとき、微駆動波形は、Tc*3/4以上Tc*5/4以下のパルス幅の引き込みパルスを含む駆動波形である。【選択図】図13
