Summary: | To provide a carbon nanotube composite that contains one highly crystalline carbon nanotube and is easy to handle, a method for manufacturing the same, and a method for manufacturing a purified carbon nanotube.SOLUTION: A carbon nanotube composite comprises one carbon nanotube and an amorphous carbon-containing layer covering the carbon nanotube. The carbon nanotube has a D/G ratio of 0.1 or less, which is a ratio between a peak intensity of the G band and a peak intensity of the D band in Raman spectroscopic analysis at a wavelength of 532 nm.
