Summary: | To provide a polyimide which has low Rth and large tear propagation resistance in addition to excellent dimensional stability, transparency, and heat resistance, and to provide a precursor thereof.SOLUTION: The polyimide precursor contains a structural unit derived from 2,2-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzidine as a diamine-derived structural unit in an amount of 60 mol% or more of all the diamine-derived structural units and contains structural units derived from one or more selected from 4,4'-(2,2'-hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic dianhydride and 4,4'-oxydiphthalic dianhydride as tetracarboxylic dianhydride-derived structural units in a total amount of 20 mol% or more of all the tetracarboxylic dianhydride-derived structural units. A polyimide obtained by imidizing the polyimide precursor has a yellowness index of 10 or less (after conversion with a film thickness of 10 μm) and a tear propagation resistance of 1.0 mN/μm or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】 優れた寸法安定性、透明性、耐熱性に加え、Rthが低く、引き裂き伝播抵抗が大きなポリイミド及びその前駆体を提供する。【解決手段】 ジアミンに由来する構造単位として、2,2-ビス(トリフルオロメチル)ベンジジンに由来する構造単位を、ジアミンに由来する全構造単位の60モル%以上含み、テトラカルボン酸二無水物に由来する構造単位として、4,4'-(2,2'-ヘキサフルオロイソプロピリデン)ジフタル酸二無水物及び4,4'-オキシジフタル酸二無水物から選ばれる1種以上に由来する構造単位を、合計で、テトラカルボン酸二無水物に由来する全構造単位の20モル%以上含み、イミド化をしたときのポリイミドの黄色度(フィルム厚み10μmで換算後)が10以下であり、引き裂き伝播抵抗が1.0mN/μm以上であることを特徴とするポリイミド前駆体。【選択図】なし |
