To provide methods and uses for effective control of herbicide-resistant weed biotypes, in particular of herbicide-resistant grass weeds.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to methods and uses for controlling herbicide resistant or tolerant weed species by applying a herbicidal compound (±)-2-exo-(2-methylbenzyloxy)-1-methyl-4-isopropyl-7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane, any of its individual enantiomers or any non-racemic mixture thereof. The methods and uses are particularly suitable for protection of crops.
