Summary:To improve the arrangement of a tripolar electrode constituting an electrochemical sensor to enable flexible response to switching between functions of electrodes.SOLUTION: An electrochemical sensor used for measuring the concentration of a specific component in a test liquid, comprises at least three electrodes 21, 22, 23 that are arranged on the same substrate 10. At least two electrodes 21, 22 of the three electrodes 21, 22, 23 are composed of diamond electrodes having the same structure and the same shape. The two electrodes 21, 22 each function as a working electrode or a counter electrode. One electrode 23 other than the two electrodes 21, 22 of the three electrodes 21, 22, 23 functions as a reference electrode, and the two electrodes 21, 22 are arranged at line symmetrical positions with a virtual line 27 passing through a prescribed electrode reference point 26 in the one electrode 23 as an axis of symmetry.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】電気化学センサを構成する三極電極の配置の工夫により、各電極の機能の切り換えに柔軟に対応することを可能にする。【解決手段】被検液中の特定成分の濃度測定に用いられる電気化学センサであって、同一の基材10上に配置された少なくとも三つの電極21,22,23を備え、前記三つの電極21,22,23のうち、少なくとも二つの電極21,22は、同一構造および同一形状を有するダイヤモンド電極によって構成され、前記二つの電極21,22はそれぞれが作用電極または対電極のいずれかとして機能するとともに、前記三つの電極21,22,23のうちの前記二つの電極21,22以外の一つの電極23が参照電極として機能し、前記二つの電極21,22は、前記一つの電極23における所定の電極基準点26を通る仮想線27を対称軸として、それぞれが線対称の位置に配置されている。【選択図】図3
