To provide an information processing method capable of evaluating a person's thinking state with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The estimation method of thinking state is an information processing method for estimating the divergent thinking state of a user based on answers to questions. The estimation method includes the steps of: acquiring a piece of first answer information including an answer content to emotional items of the user (S102); and estimating the divergent thinking state of the user based on the first answer information (S103).
