Summary:To check whether or not a cylinder whose plate surface matches the manufacturing specification of a printed product in the cylinder used for gravure printing.SOLUTION: In the gravure printing machine provided with an ink splash preventing cover 4 on the side of an end part of an impression cylinder 7, a unique code 6 is directly marked by engraving in a region which is deviated from a pressure contact part of an impression cylinder near an end part of a gravure printing cylinder 1 and is covered with the ink splash preventing cover, and the code is used as identification information. The machine collates read identification information with identification information registered in the manufacturing specifications of a printed product by reading with a handy scanner and a handy terminal having direct marking scanning performance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 グラビア印刷に使用するシリンダーにおいて、版面を製版したシリンダーを印刷製品の製造仕様のものと合致するかを照合する。【解決手段】 圧胴７の端部側方にインキはね防止用のカバー４を設けたグラビア印刷機において、グラビア印刷用のシリンダー１の端部寄りにして圧胴の圧接個所より外れ、さらにインキはね防止用のカバーにより覆われる領域に、ユニークなコード６を刻印によりダイレクトマーキングし、上記コードを識別情報として、ダイレクトマーキングスキャン性能を有するハンディスキャナー、ハンディターミナルで読み取ることにより、読み取った識別情報を印刷製品の製造仕様中に登録された識別情報と照合する。【選択図】 図１
