Summary:To provide a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus of an electrolyte for a simple and convenient vanadium redox flow battery in a low cost.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method includes steps of: preparing a solution containing an original powder containing pentavalent vanadium and less than tetravalent vanadium; obtaining a vanadium containing solution by mixing this original powder and the solution; and obtaining an electrolyte by performing an electrolytic reduction of the vanadium content solution. In this manufacturing method, a part of the electrolytes is used as a solution.
