Summary:To provide a drive system which controls so as to satisfy a required brake torque even in a coil switching period during regeneration of a rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A drive system for an electric vehicle includes an inverter 3 which supplies an electric power to a rotary electric machine 1, a mechanical type coil switching device 8 which switches a connection state of a rotary electric machine 1 when a rotation speed of the rotary electric machine 1 arrives at a rotary speed threshold and a controller 4 which controls the rotary electric machine 1, the inverter 3 and the mechanical type coil switching device 8. The controller 4 includes an inverter control device 9, a coil switching control device 10 which controls the mechanical type coil switching device 8 and a mechanical brake control device 11 which controls a mechanical brake 16. The inverter control device 9 controls so as to turn the inverter 3 off when switching connection state of the rotary electric machine 1. The mechanical brake control device 11 causes the mechanical brake 16 to compensate a regeneration brake torque of the rotary electric machine 1 which disappears due to turning-off of the inverter 3 upon regeneration state of the rotary electric machine 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】本発明は、回転電機の回生中の巻線切替期間においても要求ブレーキトルクを満たすように制御する。【解決手段】回転電機1に電力を供給するインバータ3と、回転電機1の回転速度が回転速度閾値に達した場合に、回転電機1の結線状態を切り替える機械式巻線切替装置8と、回転電機1とインバータ3と機械式巻線切替装置8を制御するコントローラ4と、を備える。コントローラ4はインバータ制御装置9と、機械式巻線切替装置8を制御する巻線切替制御装置10と、機械式ブレーキ16を制御する機械式ブレーキ制御装置11とを備える。インバータ制御装置9は、回転電機1の結線状態切替え時に、インバータ3をオフするよう制御する。機械式ブレーキ制御装置11は、回転電機1が回生状態時に、インバータ3のオフによって消失する回転電機1の回生ブレーキトルクを機械式ブレーキ16に補償させる。【選択図】図1
