Summary:To provide a chemical sensor and an electrode recycling method that can be continuously used and can be applied to environmental monitoring.SOLUTION: A chemical sensor 1 comprises: a recycling unit 2 that has a flow channel 21, a liquid storage unit 22, an electrolytic film 23, a first electrode 24, and a second electrode 25; voltage application means 3 that applies a voltage to the two electrodes; and detection means 4 that detects a substance to be measured 110 attached to the first electrode 24. The flow channel 21 and the liquid storage unit 22 are joined to each other with the electrolytic film 23 therebetween.
