Summary:To provide a surge current measuring device capable of measuring a magnitude of a surge current by a non-power supply system that requires neither a battery nor an AC power supply and with a relatively simple circuit configuration.SOLUTION: A surge current measuring device includes: a current transformer 1 for detecting a surge current flowing in a ground wire of a lightning arrester; a rectifying unit 2 for full-wave rectifying a secondary current of the current transformer 1; a capacitor 3 charged by a current rectified by the rectifying unit 2; a signal output unit 4 for generating an output signal based on a current discharged from the capacitor 3; and a surge current calculation unit 5 for measuring output time of the output signal output from the signal output unit 4 to calculate a magnitude of the surge current based on the output time of the output signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】電池や交流電源を必要としない無電源方式で、かつ、比較的簡素な回路構成でサージ電流の大きさを計測することができるージ電流計測装置を提供する。【解決手段】サージ電流計測装置は、避雷器の接地線に流れるサージ電流を検出する変流器1と、変流器1の二次電流を全波整流する整流部2と、整流部2により整流された電流により充電されるコンデンサ3と、コンデンサ3から放電される電流に基づいて出力信号を生成する信号出力部4と、信号出力部4から出力される出力信号の出力時間を測定し、出力信号の出力時間に基づいてサージ電流の大きさを算出するサージ電流算出部5とを備えている。【選択図】図1
