Abstract | To properly remove a projection when performing processing to remove a projection caused on a surface of a certain object.SOLUTION: A projection removal device 1 includes a blade part 4, an auxiliary part 5, a pressurizing part 6, and a robot 7. An end mill 4 as the blade part 4 is for removing a projection, and a roller 5 as the auxiliary part 5 is placed on a surface around the projection when the projection is being removed by the end mill 4. The pressurizing part 6 is for pressing the roller 5 against a surface around the projection, and the robot 7 holds the end mill 4, the roller 5, and the pressurizing part 6 as a manipulator. The projection is removed by moving the end mill 4 with the roller 5 on the surface around the projection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
